To get MMS on the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS on firmware 3.0 you must navigate to Settings>General>Network>Cellular Data Network. Then add these settings in the MMS field:
APN: wap.voicestream.com
Username: leave blank
Password: leave blank
MMSC: 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
MMS Max Message Size: leave blank
MMS UA Prof URL: leave blank
After make sure you reboot your phone and then the picture icon will show up in the Messages application. This will allow you to send pictures, videos, and audio clips for the same price as a text.
If you have AT&T and want to enable MMS you will have to input AT&T's MMS settings, but first you must install an APN editor from Cydia that will allow editing of the APN for AT&T as well as other networks that don't allow APN editing.
AT&T MMS Settings:
MMSC: mmsc.cingular.com
Proxy: 066.209.011.032
For the AT&T settings to work properly you must make sure that MMS is added to your AT&T account.

mms work fine except when i reboot setting r lost did step over and over to same results any help on this matter
okay i did every step i am on t mobile. i have unlimited texting. but i still cant send or receive pic messages. im on a iphone 3g 3.0. please help me out.
I amd with T-mobile in the UK and have unlocked iphone 3G on 3.0.1 firmware but cannot access web'n'walk by 3G. T-mobile (UK) say they do not have the settings to give and shoudl contact Apple. Apple have said I should contact t-mobile. I therefore can not make use of the 3G facility. Can you please help?
